Teacups and saucers collection at agardencottage

Did you see my vintage teacup and saucer collection lately? I am adding more of them weekly. I love to collect them myself and it is hard to let them go but it feels that I am running out of space. Especially knowing that I can not pass on a new find if I see one :)

Take a look at my collection for sale and find the one that is special for you. They are collectible, great to use or give as a gift and definitely perfect photo props! I love the idea of a tea party involving pretty teacups and teapots, cute desserts and miniature sandwiches. Don't forget the flowers of course!

Vintage tea cup collection at agardencottage

Have you seen our vintage tea cup collection yet? They are perfect for a spring tea party, a gathering of friends or just a quiet moment for yourself. If you are in a mood for little vintage charmers this spring they might be the thing!

This one reminds me of St. Patrick's Day because of all the green ivy. This set of fine bone china teacup and saucer is made in England by Royal Chelsea.

This pretty tea cup and saucer is covered with gentle spring yellow and purple flowers. It's perfect for Easter or spring! This is also an English teacup and saucer but made by Royal Dover.

Roses and violets are perfect for a Mother's Day gift. So is this English Paragon teacup and saucer:

And finally, something for a Father's Day. This is a set of 2 ceramic teacups and saucers (one for her, one for him) made in Japan by Tougei. Black and brown here is a perfect combination and will look great on your morning table! I am sure, a cup of morning joe will taste even better in these. Great for tea or coffee lovers.

Knitted teapot cozy Strawberries and cream

I liked my new teapot cozy so much that I made another one.

These cozies reminding me of lots and lots of whip cream on strawberry shortcakes and cute little cupcakes. Perfect for the tea party!

I used an acrylic yarn in my project because it is easier to take care of and I relly love the colors.

So go visit my shop, it is there!

My Birthday Party

I always wanted to have a nice English Tea Party in my garden.

So I invited some friends over for a cup of tea and mentioned they should look slightly old fashioned. Hats, flowers, lace, pretty colors, everything will work!
I searched for a typical Tea Party menu. Tea sandwiches and small cakes are a must. I got that and a little extra. After all, it is my Birthday party, too!Oh, it was so romantic! Pink champagne toasts followed by 5 o'clock tea treats. It was a lot of laughter and unexpected surprises. One of my friends wrote me a short Birthday poem - I did not know she loves poetry! When it was time for candles everything turned even more magical. A light breeze, small crescent moon, star filled skies, light jazz music and a nice company. What could be better for a relaxing evening?Best Birthday Party ever :)
