It's almost summer here and our day time temperatures are in high 90s. You really want to wear something light to feel comfortable and not suffer too much from the heat.
So we are making new models of gloves for those who are working in the cold environments. If you have ever been in a commercial freezer for a minute a two, you will know what I mean. You are slowly freezing to your heart. The skin on your hands becoming very dry and sometimes cracks.
Been there, done that. I was working for a large corporation bakery for some time.
We knit some new fingerless gloves and some wrist warmers for those who need them now. They are made from soft acrylic yarn and are easy to clean. Just hand wash them in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry.
We chose some soft colors like green, gray and yellow. Just to remember while at work - there is a summer out there!
