The Rose Sampling by Little House Needlework

My recent cross stitch is finished, the "Rose sampling" by Little House Needlework. It was easy to stitch and I had a great time doing it. I did not frame it yet but I am looking forward to doing this.
I am a big fan of LHN designs. They give me that cozy feeling of home in a rustic cottage. When framed, they looks great on the wall.

So I am always waiting for the new ones to come out.

Holidays Exchange

We were so busy for the Holidays that we did not have time for anything. Our Christmas tree is not up yet, no decorations on a house and greetings cards are not sent yet except of for my international friends, of course.

What I did find time for is my Christmas exchange :) I have received a beautiful little stained glass cottage tea light holder in perfect warm colors from Alla (FleetingStillness). I did not had time for photographs until now but I had short break yesterday and my new little tea light holder is ready to be introduced!

My new little cottage is simply the best, it seems that it came from a fairy tale story! This feeling becomes even more intense when you shut off the lights in a room and light the candle. A tiny tea light candle will not give you a lot of light but the dancing fire makes you feel so cozy!

Thank you so much, Alla, I love my new house!

I don’t want it to sound too commercial but really, you can ask Alla to make a cottage tea light for you in your favorite colors! If you like it please contact her for a custom order or simply visit her shop to see what’s available!

New store opened - AGardenCottage!

As I mentioned before, I have a passion for antiques. If I see something I like, I will collect the interesting pieces! Some of them I love and cherish and will never let it go and some I just like to have in my collection.

Since my collection is getting a little too big for my abilities to store it I started to think about selling some items. I still love them but I don't have room for them!

So that's how the new shop idea was born and I am happy to present you our new store - AGardenCottage! There is several sections in the store. Right now I am filling it with vintage but there is going to be photography also. The illustrations and hand crafted items added will be my own work. This items will include collectibles ACEO cards that I used to sell earlier in another store. One baby step at a time :)
If you like vintage items please keep your eye on it - the items I am listing sometimes was mass produced and I may have more than one. Many of the items may be one of a kind and once it is sold it's gone!
So please visit my store when you get a chance and see what you like!

Mr Rabbit, summer mornings and a cross stitch

When I am going into the garden on early mornings I often see this little visitor. He is often around the grass area or under the lemon tree. He is coming early enough to not get wet from sprinklers or before the dogs go out. He is just sitting quietly in a corner, enjoying his non-fat organic breakfast :) I am trying not to bother him - but he has plenty places to hide if he wants to.

I love this peaceful moments and I was so happy to find this cross stitch design from Little House Needleworks - I think it reflects my feelings! The design called Morning Berries and I loved to stitch it. It is now displayed in our living room, right next to a basket of flowers from the garden. I can have my own little piece of summer any time of year by just looking at it!

Thank you, Diane, for such a wonderful design!
