Holidays Exchange

We were so busy for the Holidays that we did not have time for anything. Our Christmas tree is not up yet, no decorations on a house and greetings cards are not sent yet except of for my international friends, of course.

What I did find time for is my Christmas exchange :) I have received a beautiful little stained glass cottage tea light holder in perfect warm colors from Alla (FleetingStillness). I did not had time for photographs until now but I had short break yesterday and my new little tea light holder is ready to be introduced!

My new little cottage is simply the best, it seems that it came from a fairy tale story! This feeling becomes even more intense when you shut off the lights in a room and light the candle. A tiny tea light candle will not give you a lot of light but the dancing fire makes you feel so cozy!

Thank you so much, Alla, I love my new house!

I don’t want it to sound too commercial but really, you can ask Alla to make a cottage tea light for you in your favorite colors! If you like it please contact her for a custom order or simply visit her shop to see what’s available!

Another gifts exchange this year

I was so excited to participate in Advent Exchange this year that I've signed up for one more gift exchange. This time it was an exchange inside of Russian Speaking Team on Etsy. I am so happy to be a member of this team, I can not believe, how many really talented people I met there for the last 4 Month! Jewelry makers, photographers, painters, knitters, felted goods makers and many more! They are friendly people who always will help you with advice and will support you!

Last Thursday I was very happy to see a gift from my secret Santa - Irina (Beautyland on Etsy)! My Mother and I we both got a wonderful gifts of matching earrings and necklaces! The amber looks great on my Mom and Irina's air necklace is just perfect addition to the nice black cocktail dress I am planning to wear for the New Year Eve!

Thanks, Irina - these are just lovely and made with love!

Please visit her wonderful store for a great selection of handmade jewelry!

Advent Exchange 2009

I was so excited to participate in Advent Exchange this year! So, I submitted an application in October through my Counted Cross Stitch Group and received my exchange partner wish list. I was so excited to play a secret Santa! I bought all the 25 gifts, made a pretty fabric bags and tags for all of them, and finally packed them and sent them to Melia in Colorado. I hope she will like them!

And then yesterday - what a surprise, I guess I was good this year :))) A box came for me in a mail yesterday. I opened it... 25 little nicely wrapped packages!!! Oh, I am so tempted to open one. But I will have to wait until the December 1 :) Thank you so much, Robyn!
