New designs at Socksandmittens for fall and winter season

We are adding some new assortments for the coming season in our SocksAndMittens shop. There are going to be more new designs and colors and as always, we are happy to accept custom orders.

 Leg warmers are our new item for this season. They are great to wear with your high heels or boots and they look really cool!

Our scarves this year are going to be bulky and in natural colors. I just love the look of a scarf-cuddled person!

The wraps are warm, romantic and simply gorgeous.

Another lovely exchange

I love Holidays Exchanges :)

I found another brown package in my mail box, I ripped it open to the pieces right there and found the cutest little box inside... but this box had a note on top.

It says: Wait! Can you wait until December 25th?HA! Who can?

Sorry, Albina, I opened it right there :) I just HAD TO KNOW!Inside was the prettiest earrings and bracelet and earrings set for me and my mother. It is gorgeous!
Such a wonderful job! The set looks very good on me and long earrings are perfect for my Mom.Thank you so much, Albina, we both just love our presents!

SALE at SOCKSANDMITTENS

It is never too late for Christmas in July, isn't it? or, in May :)




Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know:

There is a SPRING SALE going on right now in our store!

You can find some lovely hand knit socks or gloves or cell phone sleeves on sale for less than if you'd get it right before the Holidays.

By the way, our acrylic socks are great to use all year round - I am wearing mine in a garden with my cloggs or around the house, the bare floor is still too cold for me! And gloves - they are great to type in in a cold office or use it for work inside of that huge refrigerator - believe me, I've been there!

Advent Exchange days 1- 5

You all are probably wondering what did I got in those packages :) So, today is December 5 and so far I've got a lovely lovely things - a Sugar Plum fragrance diffuser, a Spiced Eggnog Candle, the desert molds shaped as Santa and a snowmmen - can not wait to make something in it! :), a cross stitch books by Stoney Creek and Cross My Heart (cute Christmas designs and English Cottages, my favorite!:) I love everything so far - thank you, Robyn!

Advent Exchange 2009

I was so excited to participate in Advent Exchange this year! So, I submitted an application in October through my Counted Cross Stitch Group and received my exchange partner wish list. I was so excited to play a secret Santa! I bought all the 25 gifts, made a pretty fabric bags and tags for all of them, and finally packed them and sent them to Melia in Colorado. I hope she will like them!

And then yesterday - what a surprise, I guess I was good this year :))) A box came for me in a mail yesterday. I opened it... 25 little nicely wrapped packages!!! Oh, I am so tempted to open one. But I will have to wait until the December 1 :) Thank you so much, Robyn!
