Another lovely exchange

I love Holidays Exchanges :)

I found another brown package in my mail box, I ripped it open to the pieces right there and found the cutest little box inside... but this box had a note on top.

It says: Wait! Can you wait until December 25th?HA! Who can?

Sorry, Albina, I opened it right there :) I just HAD TO KNOW!Inside was the prettiest earrings and bracelet and earrings set for me and my mother. It is gorgeous!
Such a wonderful job! The set looks very good on me and long earrings are perfect for my Mom.Thank you so much, Albina, we both just love our presents!

I am so happy we have met and become friends. Have a happy holidays, our best wishes to you and your family!

Holiday surprises

There is something magical about receiving mail at this time of year. Besides bills it is full of surprises! Greeting cards from friends and relatives, special treats from merchants and the best part, unexpected little packages from your online friends.

This package was a total surprise! I am not very patient person when it is about cute brown packages... so I ripped the envelope off right there, by the mail box.

So here it is, my wonderful new holidays ornament from Lana at FineEmbroidery! It is totally great. Lana is making great personalized items and she made this pillow just for me - look, it says: www.socksandmittens.etsy.com !Perfect colors, festive mood, it seems that 2011 might be a fun year when you have an ornament like this!Thank you so much, Lana, it was a very, very nice surprise!

Holidays Exchange

We were so busy for the Holidays that we did not have time for anything. Our Christmas tree is not up yet, no decorations on a house and greetings cards are not sent yet except of for my international friends, of course.

What I did find time for is my Christmas exchange :) I have received a beautiful little stained glass cottage tea light holder in perfect warm colors from Alla (FleetingStillness). I did not had time for photographs until now but I had short break yesterday and my new little tea light holder is ready to be introduced!

My new little cottage is simply the best, it seems that it came from a fairy tale story! This feeling becomes even more intense when you shut off the lights in a room and light the candle. A tiny tea light candle will not give you a lot of light but the dancing fire makes you feel so cozy!

Thank you so much, Alla, I love my new house!

I don’t want it to sound too commercial but really, you can ask Alla to make a cottage tea light for you in your favorite colors! If you like it please contact her for a custom order or simply visit her shop to see what’s available!

The Start Of A New Year

Holidays are over and I am finally starting to relax... so happy to get back to my regular routine of sewing, stitching and trying the new things! So many plans, so little time :)...

Anyway, I just wanted to show my wonderful Advent Exchange from Robyn - unwraped! and say Thank you to both of my Christmas Exchange partners, Robyn from Nebraska and Irina from Oregon. It was wonderful gifts and I had a lot of fun with it!

Another gifts exchange this year

I was so excited to participate in Advent Exchange this year that I've signed up for one more gift exchange. This time it was an exchange inside of Russian Speaking Team on Etsy. I am so happy to be a member of this team, I can not believe, how many really talented people I met there for the last 4 Month! Jewelry makers, photographers, painters, knitters, felted goods makers and many more! They are friendly people who always will help you with advice and will support you!

Last Thursday I was very happy to see a gift from my secret Santa - Irina (Beautyland on Etsy)! My Mother and I we both got a wonderful gifts of matching earrings and necklaces! The amber looks great on my Mom and Irina's air necklace is just perfect addition to the nice black cocktail dress I am planning to wear for the New Year Eve!

Thanks, Irina - these are just lovely and made with love!

Please visit her wonderful store for a great selection of handmade jewelry!
