Summer lace crochet, linen and cotton

Summer is here so it's time to wear lighter clothing! I was so hungry for colors and lace this summer that I crochet a few new items for our shop and for myself. I used linen and cotton yarn to make these so everything is natural and nice to have against your bare skin.

This little teal green shoulderette is very attractive.

It was crocheted from linen yarn and embellished with satin ribbon. A lovely way to cover your shoulders!

Another option for your shoulders is this mint green linen wrap. It can be worn as a scarf or wrap, it's up to you. The color is amazing.
These crochet linen barefoot sandals are an easy solution for fancy up your feet. They will draw attention to your beautiful legs in an instant! Great to wear around the pool, on the beach or during a summer party.

I crochet them in turquoise and hot pink colors.

And finally is this little wrap I made for myself. It can be used for around your waist or shoulders. It is made of white cotton thread and has ties to secure the width. I am going to use it as a cover up around the pool or on a beach if I will make it there this summer.

I can not wait for a swimming pool season :)

Knit cotton cuffs

These cuffs are simply wonderful. We made them thinking of a sunny summer and vacation but when we prepare to do a photo shot the wedding dress idea came out.It turned out to be a perfect accessory for the wedding outfit! With yarn available in many colors it will mach any dress. We are also working on other patterns and are excited about many of our ideas. The best part, you can wear them with any outfit you want during the year! The model you see here is also embellished with vintage buttons. I bought them a long time ago during my trip to Europe. I was hoping to make a nice something for myself but it turned out I never used them. I hope you like how they look.

Diamond, the birthstone of April

If you were born in April, your birthstone is diamonds. This gemstone is always highly desirable (remember "Diamonds are the best girl's friends"?) and one of the most valuable stones.

Diamonds can be completely colorless and transparent or a multiply colors like blue, pink or other colors. When set in gold or platinum, diamonds are a great choice for the wedding ring or other jewelry.

This gemstone is the hardest substance found in nature, generally only a diamond can scratch another diamond. It is heat resistant and has a highest melting point. The only thing that is more resistant to compression than a diamond is the metal Osmium.

When you think of the diamonds resistance to just about anything and the value they carry, it is the great way to pass on a treasure through generations. Now you understand the meaning of the popular saying: diamonds are forever!
